Two dear friends of mine and I recently visited the very lovely Lambs Club in NYC and had fantastic Pisco Sours made with the world’s finest Pisco, Macchu Pisco (Lizzie Asher, President of Macchu Pisco, was one of the friend’s). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, the delicious cocktails and the environment.
Then the American Express members magazine, DEPARTURES, came out with a gorgeous editorial featuring some of my designs and it was shot at the Lambs Club!

Can’t wait to be together again ladies, in the mean time we’ll just keep dressing it up!
I hope this posting inspires the ladies to go have some cocktails & fun with something special from your wardrobe on from head to toe.
Cheers, Leah

So we have a Leah C. feather head wear creation featured in BRIDE’S Magazine/October 2010 with the article making reference to Kate Middleton’s style and simultaneously, the Telegraph from London reports about milliner Philip Treacy’s enthusiasm to design for the stylish and beautiful Kate. Global fascination.

Lindsay Levitz came to the studio and had 2 looks in mind to satisfy with Leah C. pieces. The change in head piece would be for her first dance with the brand new husband, the Tango…I think she did very, very well with her choices and I absolutely love the look in the eyes of this loving couple on their wedding day. Such emotional satisfaction, thank you for sharing Lindsay!

I wanted to share a few photos with you from the wedding. Your hairpieces were a hit! I was getting compliments all night, especially the red one- it was so festive! I loved the way it transformed my dress- almost like changing into a whole new ensemble with every hairpiece change.
Thank you for your stunning work, I will treasure those flowers forever. I can’t wait until I have another event I can wear one to!

You never know how people and experiences will circle back around in life.
Case in point, one of my great interns from the past recently got married in New York City and we got to design her wedding veil.
Molly Carey and Alexander Schaul’s wedding at the Gramercy Park Hotel here in the city looks pretty chic to me!
Molly Carey who is the special occasion and wedding dress designer for J. Crew designed her gown!

Not to mention an absolute pleasure to work with as she brought her vision of her wedding day ensemble to life with the help of a custom Leah C. headpiece.
